Full Description

19th century icehouse situated in woodland SE of Brasted Place. Brick built, standing 2.21m high with 1.04m bwide entrance passage to a c2m diameter circular chamber. Entrance passage extended with additional brickwork. Three doors in entrance passage. Round-headed arched entrance door facing N. Date of construction unsure but present in 1865. (1)
