Full Description
Entrance to an early C19th icehouse built for Syndale House rediscovered in c.1966. The entrance passage was 1.2m high and 3.65m long. At the end a chamber was blocked off by a brick wall. The present state of the site is unknown. Syndale House has become a hotel and the ice house is within its grounds. (1)
