Summary
Part of a possible Iron Age enclosure is found near Boys Hall, and was discovered during an archaeological evaluation in advance of development. The remains comprise a pair of wide deep ditches 50m apart, interpreted as the south part of a large enclosure that corresponds to a pair further north. Late Iron Age flint tempered pottery dating to the 1st-3rd centuries BC was found in the ditch fill.
