Site of cottage present in 1840 and belonging to William Grandall and leased to Charles Forester. Part of Penshurst Estate. Not shown on 1st ED OS and no trace of building visible on the ground in 1994. (1)
A building which may represent the cottage is visible on the Heritage Tithe Map and listed as '165'.
