Summary

Second World War air raid shelter consisting of short lengths of zig-zag concrete tunnel built against the quarry face on the north side of Galley Hill, Swanscombe. Serving the workers of the adjacent cement factory, it was probably built in 1939, decommissioned in 1945 and was demolished in about 2003. Location approximate based on available information
