The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CALVERLEY PARK 1. 1746 Keston Lodge TQ 5839 SE 7/115 20.5.52. II* GV 2. Early C19. An octagonal single-storey building with a wide modillion eaves cornice which has been cut away on the south west side to make an attic window. Round-headed windows with glazing bars intact. On the south west side is an extension of lower elevation and rectangular shape. Keston Lodge forms a group with Victoria Lodge and with Nos 1 to 24 (consec) Calverley Park. (TQ 5882348) Keston Lodge (NAT) (2) 1746 CALVERLEY PARK 2. The layout of Calverley Park and the individual houses in it were designed by Decimus Burton. The general design was made in 1828 and the houses were built during the next 10 years.
