Summary

Roman burials found 1964, on the Thames foreshore by Higham Saltings. A Roman burial group consisting of an urn containing bones, a flagon, a beaker, a vase, a dish and a cup were found in the river bank in 1964. The finds dated to the early 2nd century and are in the possession of a Mr Dockerell.
