Full Description

Late C19 laundry formerly serving Gore Court, Otham, and situated c150m SE of the main house. One storey single cell brick building with tile hung upper half and pitched tiled roof. Large windows on three sides and twin doors in N gable end. Inverted lunettes in either gable and pairs of pointed dormers either side of roof. Marks of sinks and drains along inside of E wall plus flue for water boiler in SE corner of room. Later subdivision of the laundry with a brick wall and provision of interior lobby may be due to the army, who occupied the house for a period. Laundry may undergo conversion to residential. (1)
