Summary

Possibly the site of Grange Copperas Works - marked as Copperas beds and buildings on a map of 1742. Still known to be operational in 1776. The date of closure is unknown but no traces can now be seen. Probable site on Copperhouse Lane at former tidal range of Copperas House Creek. Higher ground to the east may be the site of the works with beds below at the creek edge
