Monument record TR 36 NW 226 - Bronze Age/early Iron Age settlement, near Pouces Cottages, Minster

Summary

The remains of a late Bronze Age/early Iron Age settlement were discovered near Pouces Cottages in Minster during excavations in advance of work to lay a pipeline in 1989. A number of pits and ditches were found, and recovered from the fill of these features was midden material and early Iron Age pottery sherds. The site was recorded in the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Record.
