Monument record TR 02 NE 28 - Shepherds Hut near Marshalls Bridge

Summary

Brick Shepherd's Hut set amongst sheep folds. Prob nineteenth century date constructed of several varieties of brick, much of it low grade, with roof replaced in corrugated iron. Fireplace with flue built against gable wall. Building still in use. Brick built sheep wash also of nineteenth century date adjacent, stepped entrance passage and circular chamber set into drainage channel.
