Summary
Ashford power station was located on Victoria Road in close proximity to the railway station. Built in 1926 by Ashford Borough Council, the site not only included the included the power station itself but also electricity appliance showrooms, offices and workshops. All that now remains at the site are a group of workshop buildings and the bases of concrete cooling ponds.
