Full Description
TR 3725 7005 site at Northdown Primary School, Cliftonville. Excavations between 1971 and '73 uncovered evidence of a Bronze Age/Iron Age settlement. Beneath these complex series of features was evidence of Neolithic occupation including flint flakes, part of a circular hearth containing worked and burnt flint and pottery sherds of a very coarse ware.
