Full Description

Site of swing bridge no. 5 on the Thames and Medway Canal carrying a footpath over the canal to the Lower Higham Rd. to the South. The bridge house formerly stood on the North side of the canal and the foundations can be seen (1995). A new bridge may be constructed on the site, site photographs (1-6). A modern wooden bridge. No more house remains are visible. (7)
