Summary

Second World War reinforced concrete Type 24 pillbox in orchard, Buckland Farm, facing East. A narrow wall version with brick skin. Buckland's Farm area, behind last house on the West side before East side junction on Buckland Road. The pillbox was mapped and recorded from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

The structural remains of the type 24 pillbox described by the previous authority was seen adjacent to a track through the orchards of Bucklands Farm at TQ 7309 7495. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. Recent photographs taken in 2009 indicate that the pillbox is till extant (2)
