Full Description
[TQ 68957102] Conventional symbol for 'Ro. Coins and Miscellaneous'. (1) A number of slit trenches and weapon pits were dug in this area during the last war but in spite of careful observation, no Roman material was seen. (a) (2) Perambulation of the area indicated revealed no signs of Roman occupation. Examination of a number of sandpits in close proximity (centred at TQ 6888705) also produced no results. No information about these alleged remains obtained during recording. (3)
