Full Description
Kingsnorth Power Sation, built 1963-73 as one of 10 2000 MW stations built by CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board) during that period. Unusual dual fired (coal and oil options) design. Two large jetties for colliers and tankers. Coal was the sole fuel after 1978. Functional block with no architectural detailing and detatched administration and control room building.
