Full Description
TQ 67797319 A human skull and fragments of Roman pottery, probably 2nd c., were uncovered during building operations on the site of the house known as West Filborough at Lower Higham Road, Chalk. The pottery was placed in Gravesend library. (1) This find was made in 1959 at appx. TQ 67727310, when footings for the house on the south side of Darenth Drive were being cut in the former orchard of West Filborough. (a) (2)
