Full Description
A shingle-filled, roughly rectangular feature was tentatively recorded as the base for a building. A single sherd of medieval pottery was found, but this provides inadequate dating evidence. It has been noted elsewhere that scatters of shingle are often found in association with post medieval pottery and interpreted as settlements. (1-2)
