Full Description

Earthworks visible as cropmarks in Google Earth images 2003, in Godmersham. They consist of one rectangular, one linear feature and two parallel banks with a pair of associated ditches.
The rectangular feature is 58m by 68m and the linear feature is 133m long. The parallel banks to the east of the rectangular feature are 204m by 21m and 209m by 20m respectively. The ditch running east-west is 285m in length and the north-south ditch is 331m long. These earthworks are thought to be the remnants of an old field system of unknown date, but predating the parkland.
