Monument record TR 05 SE 132 - Lynchets earthworks, King's Wood, Godmersham
Summary
Two lynchets are situated at King's Wood on the upper slope of Godmersham Downs. One of these exists in better condition than the other and it is suspected that they represent the remains of the park pale (the wooden stake fence denoting the limits of a deer park).
