Monument record TQ 65 SE 67 - Latter's buildings, Wateringbury
Summary
Latter's Buildings are a 18th/19th house and row of cottages. They include a blacksmith's forge which operated until about 1900. The will of a tenant called Moys in the 16th century suggests that a house on the site was called "scythe smith." The Moys lived in the area, possibly at Latter's Buildings.
