Full Description

[TQ 665 740] Gravesend, gas works. Tranchet axe. Find is in Herne Bay Museum. (1) Archaeological evaluation prior to construction of Denton Relief Road in 1999 produced 3 pieces of worked flint one of which suggested mesolithic or neolithic origin (2).
