Full Description
[TQ67 73 Sited to Chalk only] Three graffiti were found in 1961 in excavating the site at Chalk: (i) Fragment from the shoulder of an orange coloured beaker with lattice decoration, dateable to the third century; (ii) Fragment from wall of dark grey dish with inverted graffito; (iii) Fragment of a roll-rim of polished grey dish, dateable to the fourth century.
