Full Description
trenching on site of swimming pool nr Tonbridge Castle on playing field immediately W of the moat. A waterlogged timber horizon was revealed consisting of a layer of twigs and branches held in place by two posts. The whole was sealed by alluvial deposits and modern fill but was suggested as prob not being Md (1) Evaluation on site which revealed nothing. (2)
