Full Description
Close named Brick Kiln Field in 1841-3, a series of kilns and yards are recorded as extant and presumably in production during this time. By 1897, these brickworks had ceased production and the associated kilns demolished. Large ponds now visible, are presumably the clay pits from which the raw materials were obtained. (1)
