Monument record TQ 76 NW 264 - Hayward's House, Corporation Street, Rochester
Summary
Hayward's House originally built in 1823 as a brick three storey almshouse and owned by the Watts Charity. Now possibly flats? The building lies close, if not on, the site of an eariler workhouse built in 1700 and a cemetrey of possible early 17th century date.
