Summary
A post-medieval aqueduct is situated at Lovehurst Mill. It carries the leat to Lovehurst Mill over a stream. It is approximately 5m long, 2.5m wide and 0.4m deep. A concrete trough is set over a concrete pipe which contains the stream. The walls are faced with breeze blocks. To the east of the structure on the banks of the stream, there are the remains of a brick aquaduct which have been filled in. The bricks are 19th century but, at some point, restoration work has been carried out in concrete.

Full Description
Small aqueduct carrying leat to Lovehurst Mill over a stream. Approx. 5m long, 2.5m wide and 0.4m deep, concrete trough set over a concrete pipe carrying the stream. Walls faced with breeze blocks. East of structure are the remains of the former brick aqueduct filled in on the banks of the stream. C19 brick, probably contemporary with mill/leat. Remains indicate it was at some point repaired with a poured concrete parapet and/or trough. (1)
