Summary
ROC underground monitoring post with adjacent Orlit type B post still standing. Located 300m SW of Brookland church, parallel with the A259 Brookland to Rye rd. Monitoring post built 1962 and closed in 1968. Entrance shaft and ventilator shaft still visible above ground, but open to the elements and in very poor and dangerous condition. Reinforced concrete with earth cover. Orlit post built 1953,
