Summary
A large quantity of worked flints were found during trial trenching work in advance of development at Berengrave Nursery. The finds included an awl, scrapers, notched flakes, blades and cores of late Neolithic/Bronze Age date. There were also some blades of possible Mesolithic date.

Full Description
Large quantity of struck flint found in test pits excavated in advance of development at Berengrave Nursery. Artefact types inc an awl, scrapers, notched flakes, blades and cores. Few diagnostic items but most of late neolithic/bronze age date plus some blades of poss Me. No features found. (1) Earlier fieldwalking in the area had found similar material (2)
