Summary
An early Bronze Age mace was previously found near Barnetts Wood in Southborough. The mace is now broken and made of a type of stone of unknown provenance. According to the Maidstone Museum the artefact dates to around c.1800 B.C.. Last thought to be on loan to Tunbridge Wells Museum.
