Findspot record TR 04 NW 46 - Roman pottery, River Stour, Wye with Hinxhill
Summary
During the examination of weathered upcast deposits from dredging of the River Stour several items of Roman pottery were revealed. These finds included an intact "Belgic" grog-tempered vessel, a 1st century Samian platter and a 2nd/3rd century sandyware jar.
