Full Description

Site of 'Malthouse Farm', a group of buildings marked on the 1st Ed OS map of 1865. The name suggests a maltings was included among the group. The farm has subsequently been demolished.

Prior to planned demolition, in 2018 and 2019 a historic building record was made of The Bailiffs Cottage, a late 18th century building that fell within the curtilage of Malthouse Farm on the 1863 OS mapping. (1)
