Full Description
Boat yard on S bank of the R Medway at Tovil. Late C19 origins (not on OS 1st ed 25" 1868, but marked on 1909 ed) and still in use. Two slipways both resurfaced originals. One features covered slip shed, poss of early C20 concrete construction. Slightly above this a corrugated tin clad workshop shed, also a poss survivor from the 1909 layout. (1)
