Monument record TR 05 SE 148 - Site of post medieval building, Godmersham
Summary
A post medieval cottage of uncertain date was apparently formerly located on the north side of Temple Hill. This monument was reported in a 1995 survey of Godmersham Park 'at the foot of a lynchet' depsite there being no trace of it remaining today. No indication of such a structure could be found on the Ordnance Survey historic maps, the 1st edition dating to c.1861, indicating it may have been demolished by this time.
