Summary

The cropmark of a single ring ditch with a diameter of 9m, possibly the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow which was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. Rectangular structure, cropmark. Single circuit ring ditch without internal features (Bronze Age), sited at TQ 6943 7288 from good quality air photographs. Interpreted as round barrow (site no. KE 124.7.1)

Full Description

Single circuit ring ditch without internal features (Bronze Age), sited at TQ 6943 7288 from good quality air photographs. Interpreted as round barrow (site no. KE 124.7.1) (1-2)

Within the same field, to the north-west of this site the cropmark traces of a fragment of trackway and enclosure (NMR Monument:413754) and to the south-east, part of a possible rectilinear enclosure (NMR Monument:765222) could also be seen as faint and fragmented cropmarks on the same aerial photographs.
