Monument record TQ 67 SE 86 - Rectilinear enclosed settlement; poss. enclosure fragment - cropmark

Summary

The cropmark traces of two overlapping angled ditches. These ditches are possibly the remains of two rectilinear enclosures of uncertain date (possibly Iron Age or Roman). The longest element of both ditches measured 32m and 36m in length. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
