Summary
A water powered corn mill was built beside Water Lane in 1770. It was a two storey weather boarded building with a two storey mill house at right angles to it. The mill was converted to steam power in the late nineteenth century with a square chimney stack being added to the rear of the mill house. The mill was demolished in the 1940s.

Full Description
Site of water powered corn mill on Water Lane, Ospringe. Built c.1770, demolished 1940s. A 2 storey weatherboarded building with an outshut extension and 2 storey mill house at right angles. Converted to steam power in later C19 with a square section stack to rear of mill house.
