About 300m to the West of the front of the house, the structure is set in a mound. Entrance is probably covered by a soil ramp now existant. Documentary evidence sites the structure being filled in 1762. English bon brickwork with some original Roman cement rendering. The depth below ground level varies with the slope. The hole at the centre of the dome is filled with a concrete plug. No longer shown on OS maps. (1)
