Monument record TQ 97 NW 126 - Remains of a battery of 2 x 12 pounder QF guns and related structures

Summary

Largely overgrown by vegetation the remains of a gun battery survive on top of the Indented Lines, Sheerness. The group of structures includes an engine room for electric lights, stores and 2 x 12 pounder QF gun positions as well as a further battery of two guns that was abandoned in 1899. There is an entrance to the west.
