Old chalk pit on OS 6" 1898 2nd ed map, sheet 24 (1). Folly boundary unclear. Not present on 1st ed map, Still present on 1908 3rd ed map (2). Site also recorded on previous survey undertaken by KCC (3), additional site photographs (4-8).
