Full Description
Neolithic polished flint axe from the allotments south of the Mid-Kent Golf Course. It is of grey flint, 4.9in long, with a thin rounded butt end and slightly curved cutting edge. Now in the collection of F.W. Shilling, Borough Green. Reported in 1929. (1) This polished axe seen in Maidstone Museum. Exact provenance not ascertained. (2)
