Full Description

A fine Palaeolithic handaxe, found just below marsh surface before construction of new slip in c. 1904 (1, 2), and listed by Roe in Rochester Museum (3), then included in the Southern Rivers Palaeolithic Project (4, 5). Site photograph (6).
