Monument record TQ 77 SW 70 - Dene hole, West street, Frindsbury

Summary

A four chambered chalk hole, identified as a Dene Hole. During excavations in May 1990 by Rochester City Council five boreholes were sunk into the chamber, but no central cavity was found. It was subsequently infilled.
