A chalk pit was formerly located near Nash Farm. It is marked on the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps (c.1858-1898) as 'Old Chalk Pit'. The boundary is visible on the 3rd and 4th edition maps (c.1906-1940). (Location accurate within 20m based on available information).
