Full Description
One of two mounds almost on the brow of the hill overlooking and to the West of Syndale Farm. The mound is alongside Watling Street, hidden from view in a strip of wood adj. to the road. An attempt to rob this potential barrow has been made in the past, with a trench running E-W. (1) and (2).
