Monument record TQ 96 SE 62 - Site of Beacon Farm, near Syndale, Ospringe
Summary
Beacon Farm near Syndale was destroyed by fire in the 1970s but foundations and part of a chimney stack remain. One foundation section consists of a flint wall 31cm high and 8m long. The site has been used as a quarry for building materials. There are at least three freshwater springs to the north of the farm and much post medieval pottery has been found in the area.
