Full Description
Earthwork (suggested to be a possible Roman road/Saxon earthwork) located in hedgerow that forms parish boundary (1), site photographs (2,3).
A section was cut across the ditch and earthwork by the Kent Archaeological Field School. The earthwork was found to consist of an agger c.2m thick, made up on chalk blocks, flints and Roman building material. (4)
