Summary

The Kenward and Courts Brewery was reportedly formerly located at 4 High Street. Tunbridge Wells in 1886 Kelley's Directory. An 1867 directory lists Edward Barnett at the site. There are a range of buildings constructed at the rear and further evidence of a brewhouse has been noted in the form of a chimney at the rear of number 2 high Street.

Kenward and Courts Brewery listed as being at 4 High St. Tunbridge Wells in 1886 Kelley's Directory. The 1867 directory has Edward Barnett at the site. Part of a terrace of 3 storey building, an estate agents at No.4. A range of buildings constructed at the rear. Poss. evidence of small scale brewhouse, to rear of No.2, a pub, where an additional chimney is situated.(1)
