Full Description
[TQ 60397495]. A type IV Roman pottery kiln, 3 1/2 ft. in diameter, with pottery fragments nearby, was uncovered in 1904, at a depth of 5 ft. below the surface, 20 yds. north from where the Galley Hill man was found.
